About Us

I live in Atlanta GA and have been around the southeast since 1985.   My family moved around a lot growing up so I have lived in every region of the US except the Northwest.  BBQ has been a hobby for several years now and I am a certified KCBS Judge.  I love cooking BBQ, trying new recipes and cooking methods.

My fur bud Oakley supervises many of the cooks with the understanding that he probably get to sample the Q.   We will review different recipes, bbq equipment, rubs on our site.  We don't necessarily cook competition  style which can be a little rich when you really want to eat.  Our style is to use more spice and a little less sweet.  Enough about us,  welcome to the site and hope you enjoy the journey with us.
