Ingredients

(Well Marbled Choice or Prime)

Large Russett Potato

Instructions
Gather ingredients and Heat Grill, Wash, and Half and Season Potato

Gather Ingredients. Wash Potatoes and remove and blemish or bad spots. Cut Potato Lengthwise, apply a light coat of olive oil to both side of each potato half and season generously with kosher salt and ground pepper or your favorite bbq rub.
Grill Potatos over indirect heat

Cook potato halves cut side up over indirect heat at approximately 325 degrees for 90 minutes. Rotate potatoes 180 degrees half way through the cook.
Season Steaks

After Potatoes have been cooking for 1 hour, remove steaks from the refrigerator and season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Cover with wrap and allow the steaks to reach room temperature.
Heat Grill and cast Iron skillet

Heat Grill to 450 Degrees with Cast Iron Skillet over direct heat on Grill Grates. Once temperature is reached add one 1 tbsp of vegetable to skillet. If the oil smokes the cook surface is ready.
Cook steaks

Add steaks to skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes until a crust has developed. Using tongs lift steak and sear each side 2-3 minutes. Flip steak and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the the crust is developed and the internal temp is 130 - 135 degrees. Remove steak and set aside to rest for 10 minutes. Add butter to cast iron skillet then add crushed garlic and herbs and cook for approximately 2 minutes until butter foams. Carefully, spoon butter and herbs over steaks and set a aside.
Finish Potatos

Brush potatoes cut side up with butter then flip potatoes over and cook over direct heat for a couple of minutes until skin is crispy and you have a few grill marks. Remove from grill. Plate meal and Enjoy.
